A bit of blurb about me! I am a 48 year old male and live in the Ashfield area of Nottinghamshire, a mile or so from J28 of the M1. I think I can say that I am considered an honest and caring person and I tend to be quite easy-going (a horrible cliche, but it's quite true) and I get on well with most people. Although I can be quiet, I can waffle for England sometimes! I already have a fairly good social life and a number of close friends, but I would love to find that special someone with whom to share all the good things in life. As they say "life is too short" and I think most of us want to meet that special someone to be with and enjoy life together. It is basic human nature after all. My interests are many and I am always keen to try new things. I enjoy camping and holidays overseas. I also love hillwalking and cycling around the Peak District. I have recently joined an adventure group and plan to try a few new challenges such as abseiling, rock climbing and hot air ballooning. As a National Trust member I have a great interest in castles and stately homes. I dabble in photography, particularly weather photography. I am a fan of real ales (but really don't drink that much). I am not much into sports though I used to enjoy playing racquet sports, particularly tennis and badminton. I plan to take this up again soon. Music plays an important part in my life as I have been working in the Music Industry for the last ten years. I enjoy most styles, with a particular interest in the 70s and many types of modern alternative and European music. I am a genuine person and would always consider a partner's feeling first. I'm not perfect but I think I know myself well enough to know what I want in life and I hope I may be lucky enough to share a happy and prosperous relationship with a lady similar to myself.
