First off my actual age is 5 years older than listed but when people meet me they usually guess my age at 10 years younger. I changed my age to prevent being excluded based solely on age. You should know that I am a strong intelligent woman who is not afraid to voice my opinions. If that doesn't scare you off then maybe we should talk. If you are looking for a woman who is clingy and dependent, please keep looking because that is NOT my style. By that I mean that I enjoy (and even require) my occasional time of solitude and don't need to be constantly catered to and entertained. So if you want to go hunting or fishing with the guys for a weekend while I go do my own thing that's fine with me, I'll see you when you get back. Although I enjoy being alone there are still times that I really miss having someone to share life's journey with. Also if you are looking for someone to help you raise a child I am not interested unless the "child" has 4 legs and fur. I'm also not looking for a husband but would love to find a friend and companion. My sense of humor tends to be a bit offbeat (bordering on sarcastic at times), hugging, kissing and cuddling are some of my favorite things to do with the right man. I enjoy working out at the gym but could really use a workout buddy to help keep me motivated. Other interests include sewing, reading, cooking, online gaming and browsing the internet. For TV I really like educational and home improvement type shows and most types of movies (depending on my mood), however I am not a fan of reality shows. My music taste is varied, I like just about anything except Rap & Hip Hop - heavy metal and hard rock are ok in moderation. I like to dance and I have even taken square dancing lessons. I think of my glass as half full at all times and life has taught me that God truly does have a plan for our lives as well as a sense of humor. I enjoy quiet times at home with family and friends and am uncomfortable in large groups of strangers. I come across initially as rather shy and aloof but that is just until I begin to trust and feel comfortable with new people or situations. Finally, if you do not currently live in or around the Houston, Texas area I am not interested. I am looking for a real person to spend time with and not an email or chat buddy.
