blurb... I'm a work in progress, at the moment I can be a bit shy, but blunt, I'm not afraid to speak what I believe, but I don't want to ignore the belief of others, I feel that the odds of anyone being absolutely right are astronomical, so it's far more likely that many people are at least somewhat right, and it's up to us to figure out what seems most right of it all. I'm looking for a friend first, lover second, and everything else will come as it may, I'd rather just enjoy the time I'm given than worry about all the minute issues, the could happens and might be's, that the universe is known for picking at random. I've got a small circle of friends, more family than anything as mercurial as blood relation, I'm not in love with my job, but it pays and that's enough for the moment, but I'm hoping to move towards more enjoyable profession in the future. I don't expect someone to see me here and we'll end up ending our lives together, but I'd love for someone to see me here and find me in this vast ocean we call society, and maybe ride out the waves for a while... As long as we can stand each other, and then hopefully remain friends. It doesn't matter if it's a day or a lifetime as much as it matters that we're not rocking the boat for each other any more than is reasonable... or perhaps even enjoyable. I've been known to wax poetic, and I can be romantic when I want to put effort into it, but please, I'm still a guy. If I'm an artist I imagine I'm more of the brooding kind that comes to life once in a while to carve my masterpiece with whatever canvas I find fitting to the task, I've dabbled with a lot of media but I can hardly say I've mastered any for steel has always called to me and I'm far to practical to go running without at least an inkling of my ability to survive upon it's unyielding grace. I suspect this over-introspection will likely cause many to move along, that's likely for the best for I am often to bright for my own good, with all the tact of a garden tractor. What the hell, can't win the lottery if you never buy a ticket right? So, even if you don't bother to read the rest, just know I'm a good guy as best I am able and I'm looking for someone who's willing to work with that so we can both have some fun in the meanwhile.
