I'm putting this at the beginning because apparently some people are too lazy to read my profile: Smokers, people with baby mama drama (kids are welcome, just not the crazy mamas), a criminal past, or a drug habit need not apply. Also, "currently separated" men need not apply either. And if you wear your pants down around your knees, don't even think about it. I'm pretty laid back, and the bar or nightclub scene really isn't my thing, because I hate beer and drunk people. But I love tequila and a good margarita. Go figure. I'm very family oriented and I'm seeking the same in a partner. I am a Christian, but I'm not your ordinary, stereotypical religious person; I'm pretty open-minded and have friends and family from many walks of life. However, I am looking for someone who has similar beliefs. That might offend you, but just because I can hang with you and not be offended by something you believe doesn't mean I want to spend my life with someone who thinks I'm an idiot for what I believe. I love children. I went to college to become a teacher, but the job market is a little slow right now. However, I spend a lot of time with kids. A guy who dates me must love children, because they will always be a part of my life, be they mine or someone else's. I like to read; go to the beach; go for drives with the windows down and the tunes blasting; play card, board, and video games; go to museums, plays, concerts, movies. I'm afraid I'm not very outdoorsy, other than going to the beach or gardening, mainly because of allergies and because I hate heat and humidity. If you're looking for someone who likes to hike or go camping, keep on looking...Unless your idea of camping is the Holiday Inn. I'm a big girl, and if that's something you can't handle, well then I'm not for you. I am making conscious efforts to get healthier; I have lost 25 pounds and am continuing to lose weight at my own pace, but that doesn't mean I don't still indulge in my favorite things. Health nuts kind of annoy me; quit spending your time worrying about what other people eat or do with their time. I want to be healthier, but really, you eat right, exercise, and sleep well, and you still die. WHY SO SERIOUS? "Crunchy" people annoy me, too. If you don't know what "crunchy" means, chances are, you aren't crunchy. So we're good.
