[NOTE: The yellowed photo of me was taken Jan 28, 2012] Looking for a MAN who enjoys talking, laughing, and is intellectually curious or at least enjoys discussing lots of different ideas. I prefer to live rurally near very small towns, and love to visit the metropolitan cities for "vacations". Discovering whatever little hidden treasures are nearby is as interesting to me as visiting the Met Museum of Art in NYC. I've lived in the deep South and the Midwest, but my mindset is definitely that of a Westerner (meaning the states from NM, CO, WY, MT and further west). Having grown up in the Western US, there is something about the way people "out west" take responsibility for themselves which I relate to. My interests range from Medieval Europe to the American Civil War; horses to cats & dogs; trap shooting to theatre and museums; Science Fiction to the Society for Creative Anachronism. Just so you know: My late ex-husband and I owned/operated a restaurant for seven years. Toughest business in the world, so I appreciate both sectors of our country: the Private and the Public.
