My name is Mason, and I was born and raised in Lubbock. I'm looking for new friends, and, if I'm lucky, to find someone with whom to sow the new seeds of friendship so that it may bloom into the beautiful flower of love later one. I enjoy the simple things in life; I don't need much to be happy and content. A lot of my friends tell me that I move slow in life, but they don't mean it insultingly. I like to stop and smell the roses, and pick a few along the way as well. The first three things I notice about a woman are her eyes, her smile, and her personality, respectively. On the weekends I enjoy relaxing or going out. I'm not much into the club or party scene though; I would rather go to a park, enjoy a movie or play, or play some lasertag :) The things that I appreciate most in a woman are a strong sense of self awareness, independence, and compion. I like a woman who knows who she is, where she is, and where she is going; one who takes care of herself, and doesn't go running to daddy every time she needs money. I believe that the keys to a lasting relationship are a strong mutual trust built through honesty and love, loving my partners family as much as I love her, and vise-versa. Now, something a bit more meaningful... I am rather deep, and enjoy the company of those others who are. I am always thinking, and am the kind of person that if asked what I'm thinking about, I'll tell you, no matter how crazy and obscure it may be. Intellectual conversation is something I truly enjoy, be it about the state of the world, humanity, spirituality, or something more far out. I'm usually in a great mood; I'm smiling, laughing and joking. However, some days, I just have to be in a bad mood. Why? Because there is no sunshine without rain and no pleasure without pain. A great mind and a sincere heart are my biggest turnons. I hate arrogant and ignorant people, although I can, at times, be very cynical, typically about people.
