A little about moi! I was widowed 10 years ago and have been remarried briefly. BUT…. All my baggage was left at the station! :o) I look younger than I am. I’m fun, love music, have a busy job, but still enjoy getting out, great sense of humor, compion, spunk, love dancing, reading, singing, writing, working with people, organizing things, teaching anything, all the crime shows and some reality TV, movies and popcorn, the beach, summer showers and great times with family and friends. I can't communicate much during the day as I have cles from 7am-3 pm and frequently meetings following that. I am low maintenance and easy going. I am spiritual and sy, introspective and silly, energetic and nap e, sensitive to your feelings, love to be surprised and to do the same for you. Dancing is one of my favorite things and I took beginning ballroom two years ago fall and totally enjoyed it. Hope to get back to it next month. My idea of outdoor adventure is a long walk anywhere scenic, shooting some hoops, watching a ball game, playing guitar on the front porch or gardening when I have the space. I have played golf and tennis in the past and also roller skated a lot, and enjoyed those activities, and would enjoy taking them up again. You are probably wondering what I am looking for...hmm, that's tough...because my husband was a total surprise when compared to my “list” :o) But this should come close. You will be a solid Christian who lives his faith through his service, actions and treatment of people, without having to preach it (unless you ARE actually a preacher...then its totally OK :O). You will be a gentleman who knows how to treat a woman. You should enjoy good conversation about most anything. You will be 5'10" - 6'3" tall, hopefully without major health problems and reasonably in shape. A little padding is fine and kind of comfy. You will be a man's man in the old sense of the word. Not afraid to get your hands dirty. You know...I want you to be different than me! You will be polite but with a mischeivious charm, a lover not a fighter. You will have energy and like life! You will have a good sense of humor without needing a lampshade :o), you will care about humanity at large and your neighbors in particular. Since I sing a LOT, I guess you better have some appreciation for music. And you should be affectionate, loving, and pionate and know that things happen in due season with the right person. Some things I believe: God’s mercies are new every morning. Relationships take give and take from both sides. I believe that many of life's toughest times can be handled through humor and willingness to see the other's point of view. Compromise, friendship and trust are essential in any long lasting relationship. Looks will go, but what is in the heart and soul will last. A relationship that lasts will be a true partnership in every sense of the word. Shared interests and interests of their own, loyalty, absolute trust, affection and surprises, willingness to explore the others ideas, dreams and desires, the ability to agree to disagree, and deep abiding friendship. No matter how well you think you know someone,you really need TIME to see how they operate in all phases of their life, how they relate withetheir family etc before you know you will make it in the long term. A deep friendship, committed time for each other each week, and easy humor will help you make it through the tough spots. Take time every day to realize how important that person is to you because you never know for sure that they will be with you the next day. Don't be afraid to love deeply, because even if it doesn't work, you will have grown. I don't know what the future holds, but I am definitely open to possibilities. Life is good, God is good, and I am looking forward to whatever happens next!!
