I’m a single man originally from Chicago, now living in north central Oklahoma. I own my home and live comfortably on a fixed, tax-free income through the VA and SSDI. While I use a wheelchair for now, that’s only temporary until I finish physical therapy. What I want is simple: a genuine partner to share life with, someone who enjoys quiet moments as much as road trips, someone who likes to cook together, laugh together, and dream together. One thing you should know right away is that I rescue cats. They are part of my life and they were here first. If someone has a problem with them or is allergic, then I’m not the right match, because my cats are my family. That said, I’m open about the future. I’d be willing to move, buy a new house, or keep this one as an investment. Recent cir***stances landed me here in Oklahoma, but relocation isn’t out of the question if the right person comes along. I’m conservative, unvaccinated, and I believe in self-defense, so you can’t be afraid of firearms. At the same time, I’m a lifelong pacifist who doesn’t believe in violence against anything born on this planet. I don’t need *** to be happy, but I do need intimacy and real love. To me there’s a world of difference between being “in love” and truly loving someone, and I want the kind of bond that can outlast everything life throws at us. I enjoy fishing in a way that surprises people — no hooks, just a tug-of-war with the fish so nobody gets hurt. I also enjoy target shooting, working on cars, mowing the grass, and cooking, but my favorite thing has always been doing for others. I served in the Navy, spent 24 years as a Guardian Angel helping those who couldn’t defend themselves, and built a successful career as a programmer. I was fortunate to earn well, and I always used it to bring happiness to the people around me. At the end of the day, honesty and trust matter most. I’ve never given a partner a reason to lie or cheat, and I never will. I’m an open book, but just know if you ask me a question, you’ll get an honest answer, ready or not.
