I’ve been single for several years now. I’ve been ready for a relationship but haven’t found the right person yet. I’m not sure why we haven’t met at the store, reaching for the same avocado. Maybe we just keep missing each other. ;) People and coworkers are surprised that I’m still single, but I’ve worked hard to create a good life for myself and refuse to settle for less than I deserve. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not overly picky, but I’m not interested in being someone’s third in their marriage or just a temporary fling. I work very hard (it’s crazy that some people say to swipe left if that’s the case). I value kindness, compassion, and empathy from others because I see firsthand how life can change on a dime. Life isn’t about what you have or all the countries you’ve been to (not to discount someone who is well-traveled—hopefully you understand what I mean). I’ve held the hands of people who were taking their last breaths, and it truly puts life in perspective. So, who am I? I’m the man who’s willing to drop everything to be there for my friends and family. I’m the man who works to take care of himself. I love coffee in the morning and a beautiful view. I love the smell of a campfire and fresh cut grass or wood. I enjoy wine tasting, live sporting events, backyard barbecues, and travel. I appreciate other cultures (not only did I grow up around it, but I’m fortunate to work in an industry with a lot of diversity), and I’m always up for trying something new. There’s a lot more to me. I like to say that I’m simply complicated. lol! The only drama I bring is that of my son, who is an occasional actor and singer.
