Ever since I was a little girl, my summers have been spent on the farm. Sweeping grain sheds, helping on the dryer with dad, long harvest days, dusty tractors, late nights and learning from the very best. Farming has never just been a job to me, it’s been part of who I am for as long as I can remember But over the years, things naturally evolved. As dad has started taking a well deserved step back and heading into his retirement era, I’ve gradually taken on more and more responsibility across both businesses. From day to day farm management, to contracting, tenancies, audits and decision making, the responsibility has slowly become mine and it felt like the right time to officially bring everything together on paper.
