Hi, I am an open-minded and curious individual who loves trying new things! I am currently working on my Michigan teaching certification for secondary social studies and a foster care license. I identify as Demi***ual and neurodivergent. Social and environmental justice mean a lot to me. I volunteer with Be SMART and End Gun Violence Michigan to help educate my community on responsible gun ownership to keep kids safe as well as suicide awareness. I am also a volunteer reading tutor for kids with dyslexia. I play the flute in the Jordan Valley Community Band with my mom and dabble in guitar as well. I also enjoy D&D, as well as my 90's/***'s sandbox *** games. I love cooking (vegetarian) food from different countries and am active on Duolingo. I love nature, animals and working with kids! I also love to hangout outside, especially in summer. I am a vegetarian for religious and ethical reasons. My favorite holiday is Halloween (the spooky side- not the gory!). I enjoy anime, some of my favorites being Fullmetal Alchemist, Hetalia and Bleach. Some other movies and shows I enjoy are Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, the old Addams Family and Munsters, The Office, Avatar the Last Airbender, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Invader Zim, Steven Universe and Miyazaki movies. I also enjoy musicals, some of my favorites being Les Miserables, Epic The Musical (if that counts!) and Rocky Horror Picture Show. I like a lot of different music, but my favorite is classic rock from the ***'s. A new hobby I am recently learning is herbal medicine making. I'm super excited to meet you and learn about your hobbies and interests as well!
