I’m a native English speaker with improving French, and enough Spanish and Italian to comfortably order lunch wherever we find ourselves. Europe feels familiar to me, and I’m equally at ease in the UK. I value warmth, loyalty, and good conversation. Affection matters — holding hands, easy closeness, and genuine chemistry are essential in a relationship. Music still plays a big role in my life. Graceland by Paul Simon has never left my playlist, and Freddie Mercury remains unmatched in voice and performance in my opinion. I’m based about 50 minutes north-east of Bordeaux, with excellent rail and air connections. I enjoy travelling and meeting new people. My career has taken me across Europe, Africa, and Asia — India left the deepest impression, Beirut the most fascinating city. I’ve returned from Kenya in March — an incredible country with genuinely warm, welcoming people. Work has taken me across Europe over the years; I’ve visited Milan more than 40 times, yet somehow never made it to see The Last Supper. I’m corrected that in July. BTW there is a much better fresco on the opposing wall that people never register. I also spent time in Florence (David in the Accademia Gallery) and Rome (Sistine Chapel it was quite disappointing), Rome was hot over 38 degrees and crowded. After this , who knows — perhaps the Serengeti migration, The Fish River Canyon and Etosha Game Park in Namibia, just a few days in Paris or two weeks in Manila? I’m looking for a long-term partner. Relocation is absolutely possible for the right woman, and I believe in meeting in person sooner rather than later — real connection deserves real time.
