You reminded me of the first guy I sent my first Mingle poem last July,
he is unemployed but he is the exact opposite of u.
He did not whine or complain.
He just stated his situation.

We cant do anything about your being not photogenic, but u certainly can do something of how u see things, of how u can change things to

I do not know with other women,

When I joined Mingle, I have the same question as the OP.
So I made sure I have my recent pic of my latest
river trekking.

On top of that, I posted a photo of
myself with a good friend on a zip line
so they can see, that I like outdoors
& what is the real color of my hair,
in a direct sunlight.

On top of that, even if it is
discouraging, I posted a
not so recent photo that people
around me always say is my normal
everyday expression- an immature expression.

On top of that, I posted a picture
with me & other people.

Before my 60th day in Mingle,
I actually weep when I found out
my picture was used in another
website I have never registered.

I asked someone whose opinion I
always value in instant message,
why it happened and she said
"they do it because they can do it"

That very same day, I removed all 4
pictures that have my face on it.

What is left are pictures of my books.
At least they are really my books.

What is left is a picture of my glass &
wine, at least they are really mine.

What is left is a picture of my palm,
the butterfly is not mine though:)

All my profile pictures are mine
that I am proud of.

Until now I do not regret
removing my pictures,
and I do not have future plans
of uploading a new one.

I am here to interact & learn
from the forums.
I have declared, I am not
ready to love and I am
not ready to be loved.
So I do not see why I would
need a picture.

If by some miracle, I will
find a man who is compatible
with my personality & worthy
of my pictures, I will be
more than happy to show off
and flaunt what I have
exclusively & only for that man.

To post a picture with my
face now means, I encourage
male minglers, who can get past
my filters to instant message me.
Why should I encourage anyone,
when I am not ready for anything yet.
Yes I want to get to know someone

The fight scenes are cool.
Jason Patric's moves are realistic.

2. Haywire of Gina Carano

I really like the relationship of
father-daughter in this film.

what amuses me in this film, is that
Channing Tatum still get to throw
something "hot" into a woman's face.
This time though,it is not his underwear,
it is a hot beverage:)

3.Homefront of Jason Statham
I find the film creepy
and the film encourage me to get married too:)

4.Survivor of Milla Jovovich.

What I like about this film is
that the fight scenes are more
realistic with how a man & a woman fights.

what hit me hard in this film, that
it took me a while to get over with it is
the last narration at the end of the film
before the credits.
53 unsuccessful attempted terrorist attacks.

We will never get to thank those who give
their best to stop the attempts.
Yet, like Marcinko's Team Six & Red Cell
we could not even thank them & acknoweledge
them for giving their life in preserving
& protecting the free world.


All 4 films did not do well in the box office
in my corner of the world,

yet,

These films made me realize that someone
here in Mingle has very low opinion of
the intelligence & good sense of the people I interacted
in the board.
That someone believes that a woman from a
3rd world country can actually twirl someone to do her bidding.
How hilarious.
