Through a howling forest,
on a freezing winter night,
reindeer flounder in the snow.

Santa and his presents
are burrowed down deep
stuck in weather that’s 40 below.

Mistletoe whips by
barely missing their eyes,
as it’s driven by harsh screaming winds.

Oh woe unto them,
it’s nearly Christmas again
and they’re blocked by a downed gingerbread tree!

Icicles glare
with frozen faced stares.
No help will they offer this man.

Santa begins dreaming
of hot cocoa that’s steaming
imagining the warmth in his hands.

(Now, you know he has magic,
so this story’s not tragic,
at least, that’s what I was told.)

As the tree catches that warm cocoa scent,
it stands straight as a chimney
and dances a tree version lindy,

clearing a path
through this rough
wonderland.

Yes, this Holiday is saved!
The man, reindeer, and sleigh
now fly every year through the sky.

Many legends and stories
tell Santa’s tribulations and glories
and this is but one of those tales.

The gingerbread tree,
I most definitively can see,
sparks more than a smidgen of doubts --

Yet, I ask you,
where else would we find wood
for that gingerbread house?

I enjoyed this immensely and as for the conversation between you two, NOW there's a poem title, "Easy Bake Heart"........not to be confused with an Easy Bake Mind  Marc wants a Shake-n-Bake mind (and I hellllllPED! lmao)

Okay OutkastBoss, let me agree it isn't necessary to debate this here and trust me, I seriously don't want to experience a living version of Animal Farm, just so I can do a "yuh-huh look at 'em go!" told ya so dance. It just boggles my mind how VASTly different now versus then really is - compared to earth formation guestamations - that's a very short flippin time - feels like a humongous catch 22, ya know?

Feel free to tear into anything I write. It'll make me think and dig around in my reactions to it - Egad, I could even expand my mind more and learn a thing or two. Along with finding definitions to previously unknown words, understanding different points of view is a thing I find a blessing and a curse, but well worth finding out which is which and then hunting for that elusive ---- happy medium.

I wanna be symbiotic, blast it all!

Horse and griffin mix

Griffin is a lion and eagle mix.

So why didn't he look more like Pegasus? Probably because he didn't have Poseidon and Medusa for his parents.....

animals are the same as us.. Not so much noble but animal as we are ..an eagle is one hell of a killer.. Majestic yes peaceful no.. The killing and dying is the balance ..people want to believe natures balance is peace but its not survival of the fittest is war on the weak sick and the children .. This is the nature of all things including us...
I appreciate your perspective, but I feel the need to point out, animals accept death - we don't. How many eagles have you seen wearing an oxygen mask on their faces and the tanks strapped to their backs? When animals overpopulate their species, what happens? Man's natural predator has turned out to be disease, natural disasters, and oh yeah, himself - he's trying to overrule - animals don't.

My brothers,
the eagle and
the buffalo,
are surprised you humans
still don’t know:
How ---
to Share ---
our Home.

How to live in harmony
with each other,
as do we.
Appre-ciat-ing
what!
the other is.

Eagle flies
so high above,
a symbol of
Creator’s love,
lending the wide vision
of his eyes.

Buffalo living
in his herd
never speaking
with human word;
but sacrificing All!
so you may thrive.

The earth, herself,
is your mother too
providing food
for me and you
and oxygen -
we all need -
to breathe.

Dear blind humanity,
what is it
that you truly
Think you need?

Yup, I'm playing with stuff I can't shup up in my head again. I've written how self-esteem became retarded. Reprogramming such an entity, I have no clue, so I'm looking for suggestions. The only catch is I'd love it to be written in the opposite form/style of what I'm posting, oooo, new thought, if it can be written so it needs to be read from the bottom up, THAT could be even cooler, to my weird and distorted way of thinkin'. Any takers? Yes, you will most definitely be given collaboration credit under whatever name you prefer.

Oh, P.S. Thank-you.

The Fall and Rise: Journey to Self-Esteem

Within ear shot,
words spoken bleed into brain
creating mind numbing tangles
of misconstrued misunderstanding
bound in murderous subconscious deceit.

So why do people do what they do, why do one's who do not do have access to understanding the mind of those doing and how amazing one can be immune to the act of doing, yet still be allowed to experience only through their mind without indulging. hmmmmm gee whiz, huh?

My comment sounds redundant, I know, but definitely different, yet intriguing, enjoyable, and indeed - thought provoking.

Woke up with a strong twang of digger need
So I rolled it around and found these:

Draggin around my dragons.
Don’t worry, they’re all safely leashed.
Now and then, they get a tad hungry
And gnaw on my ingrained self belief(s).

This ol boy’s called perfectionism,
His leash, I call, compassion.
He flames up with tough criticisms
And demands his full daily rations.

Now, Pinky here, is my egomaniac.
She loves to be stroked and adored.
She doesn’t get cravings too often,
But when she does, she’ll glut and she’ll gorge.

“Self worth, com’ere darlin, you’re okay”,
Excuse her. She’s really quite shy.
She takes the longest to feed,
But I’m hopin someday, she’ll fly high.

May my misconceptions of self
topple from my being -
timbered trees with roots
weakened by malnutrition -

allowing direct sunlight’s
discerning eye
conscious pathways through
the dense undergrowth of self judgment.

Close your eyes
Breathe
and let the energy of your soul
guide

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh My Lady
Muahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Thanks, my honey, that's the only way that truly makes any sense for me or works, lol
