soul mates
I love the explanation of the twin flame. I had never heard it before. It all makes sense to me. I have met a couple soul mates in my life. I do think it prepares you for "the one" or twin flame. You are right that you will just know and don't question it...and that feeling is echoed by the other. There is no choice because you both know that it will be.

soul mates
QUOTE: QUOTE: I actually do believe in soul mates, but not in the conventional sense. I don't think it's someone to marry and spend the rest of your life with and be lovey dovey forevermore. Three years ago I dated a boy for a short time, but it was an instant connection and it had felt like we'd known each other for years after about a week or two. We had a horrible break up, both of us devastated, and didn't talk for a few months. As of now, we are best friends. We think alike and have the same feelings on almost everything. We still care very deeply about each other, talk a lot, and know that we could always turn to one another for anything at all. The love has turned into a different kind of love, and I do believe he's my soul mate because it feels like he is the other half of me. He always knows what to say or do when I'm upset and it's a wonderful kind of person to have in your life. Oddly enough, I don't want to date, marry, whatever, him, I'm extremely happy with his role in my life right now. Lol that's my idea of a soul mate anyway.
I don't think it has to be someone that you end up married to necessarily... I don't think it even has to be a lover..just a connection that was made before we came to this planet. I understand what your saying... I totally agree. Call it serendipity. It tends to happen when you least expect it. |

Yes, I do believe in soul mates. That doesn't mean that you have just one or will be with them together til the end of this life. When this happens, the connection, the feelings, the familiarity of knowing them, is really not explainable. You know it is not in your character to feel this way. This can happen without ever meeting them first.
I've experienced lust at first sight and this is not it. People and experiences are placed before us for a reason. When it happens to me I choose to go all in and embrace the connection. No one can predict the future, but I will never pass up the chance if it is placed before me. |

Puppy Dog Compliments....
Well, when your get closer to 50, and someone is still calling you cute you take it as a compliment... assuming it means you still look younger than you are.

What a lovely love story. I know you will embrace every minute. What a gift you have been given. Your profile acts were truly eloquent.
I am going to meet someone in Dallas in 18 days. I'm giddy like a school girl now. I hope for a happy ending such as yours. |

Whenever someone lists what a nice guy they are I lump it in the same category as guys stating what good Christians they are. If I here that comment it sends up a red flag immediately. Let's not even get me started on "good Christian" married men that hit on me.
I put on my profile that I can be feisty when provoked and may be blunt at times but honest. I require someone that is my match. Not some yes honey guy that will go along with whatever I say. That doesn't mean that they are a**holes. It just means that they have their own opinions and viewpoints and we don't have to agree on everything. I always watch actions. Some people can be really good at words and it can hook us in. Actions speak volumes about the type of person you are. Pay attention to actions and not words. So I want a man that stands up for his convictions, whatever they may be. He also needs to respect that I stand up for mine. That to me, is hot, and something to be attracted to. |

You should report them using the button to the righton their profile that says report this user. Once you report them, it will give you the option of blocking them also. It is always best to make administration aware of the problem.

Used Clothing
QUOTE: QUOTE: My ex was 6'6" I never had a problem buying him Levi's... I'm only 6'3" and I have a hell of a time finding levi's. As I said I have a 36" inseam. My waist is also 36" and the last time I bought a pair it was me and two store clerks looking for half an hour to find a single pair. They weren't my favorite cut, but I still bought them because I needed paints. Chinos and cargos? Forget about it. I wear black ones for my work and I have to deal with the shorter legs and showing my socks. You're right-my ex wore 3636 Levi's and I could only find them at J.C. Penney in the big and tall man section. |

I can't stand it myself. When I was a Girl Scout we would go around picking trash along the road as a service project. It's disgusting what people toss out.
I worked at a little grocery store during college and if I would see a kid get a candy bar and go outside and throw the wrapper on the ground I would go out and make him pick it up. |

Used Clothing
I love thrift stores. I can get recent fashions there but go for all the vintage clothes. I have found the coolest old leather coats, fake leopard furs, Jackie O dresses. My favorite now is a leather blazer that's made of hundreds of different colored circles of leather. It's certainly a conversation starter. I also donate all my old clothes there.

Bra Or No Bra
I guess I'm in a minority here. I used to wear slinky dresses out dancing with no bra, tank tops, camisoles, all of it. Never viewed myself as trashy. Really don't think that someone would be able to tell. It's not like your headlights are on 24/7. If you're blessed with good breasts why not be comfortable?
