I asked my brother this question not long ago wanted a guy's perspective he said he did not have the time or inclination to bother with a relationship too much work/upkeep he still wanted a woman around I said" ya mean like a hooker or a bar fly?" he laughed and said the one is illegal and the other? no guarantees at end of the night" He said he wanted someone to talk to, to tell about his day, someone who will listen to him and want to spend time with him..that he can call when he wants to even if that is not every day and someone who will set time aside to be with him I said " like a Rent-a-wife?" he said " ya but without the criticism" I have found this to be true for most (not all) of the men my age. I have come to terms with the fact that it is unlikely will meet someone to be in a committed relationship with but I stay open to the idea just in case. |

Thank you SassyEuro2! I do like my hair short and that's why I keep it this way. I grew it out last year because the guy I was dating wanted me to grow it.
 Now it's short, I'm single but happy.  P.S. That's not why we broke up.

It's coming up very quickly on the one year anniversary of my step son's motorcycle accident and my stroke. I can't believe it's been a year already. Toughest year I've had since 2007. But we survived and I have so much to be grateful for. Wow I remember this well. I am so glad to hear that you both are doing so well.  Thank you. Well Ruth, I'm really pissed off, I've always thought that I was the most popular person on Mingle, but obviously not with all those nice messages you got  I bet you're very proud of yourself, I guess I'll have to spread my wings elsewhere I am joking of course, take it easy  I'm not sure how much winning a Mingle popularity contest will get you, but there's room here at the "top". Come on up and we'll be friends.

I am thinking its nice to have Ruth back again, apparently she has had a rough year and we all wish her the best.Life is crazy, one day you think you have problems then something happens and wow, you forget about your daily problems are at the drop of a hat.Nice to see you again Ruth, are you still listening to coast to coast am? Its open lines night tonight. Wow. This just made me smile. I can't believe you even remember me. Lol. I don't listen to coast to coast much because it's on too late for me. I fall asleep pretty early. But every once in a while I catch the show. Maybe I'll try tonight. I hope you are well.
