Yes, it does suck that the law was interpreted so literally. However, in all fairness to the police officers and the law, they didn't know his intentions. For all they knew, he passed out, and would wake up, still drunk, and drive off. And, they didn't know how he got there to begin with. It's doubtful that the charge will stick but unfortunately, it'll probably cost him a boatload of time and money to get it dropped. I wish him well flowerforyou

You're surely not suggesting that you can now be busted based on what cops "think" your intentions are.

If there is probable cause (i.e. passed out behind the wheel with the keys in the ignition), than yes. Just like if you walk into a bank with your gun out. You may be there to deposit your lottery winnings but they don't know that. Tell your friend, next time, keep his keys in his pocket and climb into the back seat or passenger seat. flowerforyou

What about heat?

I also use a puffball instead of a washcloth. I will reuse my towel when I shower at home, but not the one I take to the pool with me. Locker rooms are dirty places.

Got myself into a lot of trouble doing exactly that. I'm trying to figure out how to balance everyone else's problems with my own now.

Only when I found out I was the other woman and he's got a kid at home.

I think its the combination of the two. You've got the teenagers, driving too fast and not paying attention, then you've got the old people, driving too slow and not paying attention. What happens when you put them on the road together...

Lol, you people are hilarious, and right on the money. A lot of people are so wrapped up with outward appearances that they don't bother getting to know the person.

My grandma was a very classy lady, she rarely left the house without her hair and make-up done and she made darn sure I knew which fork to use, but that's not what made her classy. She was always helping others and even in her 60s was driving "seniors" around and doing various other volunteer work.

I think class is about respect.

No, there is absolutely no way anybody could be fed up with me!

My phone must just be broken. :-)

No one has told me that for a while now, maybe I'll go call my dad.

Growing up I was always referred to as the sensitive and emotional one....but, now, I am just jaded and snap my emotions off like a light switch.

I know how you feel Krupa. That's something I'm trying to figure out now.
