It is hard to want something That you never really had The feeling of being loved Just the feeling of being sad I would like to open up Let someone inside my heart It is a hard thing to do I don't know where to start Having so many walk out Keeps your self esteem low I have to love myself first For anything else to grow I have lost out many times Leaving myself out in the cold Scared to open my mind Never having anyone to hold A very fragile individual Is what I let myself become Blocking out what is in the past Is easier said than done

WoW Amanda, that was beautiful. I really feel ya on this one. Especially the line, I would like to open up Let someone inside my heart It is a hard thing to do I don't know where to start Having so many walk out Keeps your self esteem low I feel this so much as well, that I am afraid of being in love again. When you get that feeling all inside your heart and then you get shattered, it's hard and devastating on the emotions. SO it's hard to keep your self esteem high and feel good about yourself. Very good write sweetie.
