Ok , not on this site, and as the rules dictate I will not mention the site nor the name of the man who pulled this I am honestly looking for feed back on if you think this sounds fishy or not.

When I first met "M", I felt a really strong connection and we had some really great conversations,as time went along, I had asked him to add me to myspace ( not a wise idea I admit), and he was not doing so at first, then he spoke about coming out from Africa so we could meet in person, but could not come up with the money for the ticket and asked me for part of it, no I have not given him a dime, I knew that was a huge red flag there and grounds for deleting accounts in this site ( no one from this site did this), and I was evasive about it, just to see what kind of reaction I would get. He kept trying to butter me up and say sweet tings as we re in constant contact with each other , it did lessen as time went on as I had told him I could not come up with it as I knew giving anyone money I didn't know is a recipe for disaster, it has been about a week and i have not seen him on or even respond to any of the messages I sent. I have never been the type to play games or be dishonest, so when I see this behavior out of others, I end up feeling hurt.

My point, I told him i was not speaking to him anymore and removed him from my contacts. Why do people do things like that....it really just makes me wonder and let the good guys out there they will get a chance, and a warning to those who act like this, I am really good at weeding you out!
Thanks for listining!

Uhhhhhh your nigerian scammer is already onto his next victim......

why ask why???? It just is and there will always be losers, jerks, scammers, users, abusers. Unfortunately these guys end up dead, in jail, or alone all their lives.

Unfortunately there are millions of scammers on the net and just something we have to be aware of and keep a keen eye on....I have found several on this site....block them when you find them and be done with them....and NEVER give your personal email or im to them

People do things like that because they can. Because often times they will find someone that WILL send them money. It was a scam. I'm sorry it happened to you but at least you didn't lose out financially on it. Not everyone is like that tho.

The world is just full of really bad people... just how it is. Don't feel bad about it. You had a connection to him because he wanted to be that way. That's what scam artists do... they tell you what you want to hear so they can take you money. Be happy you didn't pay him.

And don't think that it is limited to men - there are plenty of "women" who have similar scams going on. Their base of operations seems to be Ghana - but I get a kick out of some of them using a picture of a blue-eyed blonde that would make a native Swede look dark!!! But I have been approached by them from all over the USA also, except for my home state - gee I wonder why.

I guess you have to be a little cynical to survive on the web. Regrettably, this may mean passing up on a legitimate potential match who may not have a well-written profile.

always follow your instincts...if it feels wrong, then it is...be happy you didnt get taken for more than just a bruised ego.

Ghana and Russia are the two places I have had scammers email me from.

They are kinda fun to play with...lol
