As God did to Adam
I asked Him to take my life
He put me in paradise
Taking away all strife.
He doesn't give me
Anymore than I can handle,
My light burns forever
Like that of an eternal candle.

He took my life
There, He planted the seed,
He put forth a plan
In which I had to weed.
He took my soul
And enriched it with His word,
Put here by Him
The Ten aren't absurd.

Put here by God
I take His word and shall heed,
By living in righteousness
And serving His need.
He will take all evil
Away from my sight,
If I put forth the effort
And live by what is right.
