If you two like each other, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. unfortunately i think it has to be more than 'like each other' especially in certain areas. if you 'like' him/her is that strong enough to endure ridicule and bad circumstances with family and friends? i personally have no problem with it, but i know my parents and family and most of my friends are very against interracial relationships. in fact my husband said it'd be over his dead body if our daughter came home with a black man. sighs it's a very touchy subject in my household.

why would you care what others think about??? If you like the person, who cares what colour they are??? This is not the 1950's where things like this were frowned upon. I would think people have evolved somewhat since then......

This gave me an interesting question: Is there still areas in United states that people are not welcome because of their skincolour? Or do I just have biased information?

That's a choice that the people involved have to make for themselves. If their belief is that other people's opinions matter more than their own, then that's something else they will have to deal with. If they spend their lives seeking the approval of others, they will never be living their own lives for themselves. And that's sad. I know it happens, but it's sad.

It is getting more and more acceptable for that. Personally I see nothing wrong with it, but if you were to ask my family they would try to call down fire and brimstone on someone who thought so. That is part of the reason I don't get along with them.

I'm going on a date with a latino girl this weekend, and I think its perfectly fine. Do most people feel that theres nothing wrong with it? I just dont want to get with this girl then her parents don't like me because I'm white. My ex bf is German and Mexican. First Mexican I ever dated and he know's it. He used to give me crap all the time with his bad joke's about me being white. Never met his mother or, friend's.

Anymore...in this day and age...we are all MUTTS. Anybody who even bothers to ask the question of wether it is OK or not...obviously has a hang up with it.
