I was just wondering if anybody here would date a stripper, and if so, could you ever take her seriously?

yes , i have a couple of friends that are strippers...
they are very smart people college grad's... stripping pays more than a reg. job and the hours are better !

Yeah I would date a stripper, but I wouldn't expect a long term relationship with one. Even if she was a smart, classy girl I don't think her environment supports conventional dating.

If I wanted something serious then no. If I wanted a fling then yes. Would you REALLY want the girl you loved to be dealing with that BS that goes on at the club all the time? And what if she honestly prefered that?

In all honesty there are very few that would not be bothered by this at some point in the relationship. How many elderly men are married to elderly women that retired from some form of adult entertainment?

Please keep in mind that I am not saying strippers are bad people. They have gotten plenty of my money. God bless those girls.

I did back in my early 20's and I wouldn't do it again. Serious baggage, alcoholic and drug user. Worst relationship ever.

I wouldn't -- not because I have anything against stripping, per se, but because I wouldn't date someone who worked in a place where alcohol was served.

I have dated a stripper and had one live with me. It wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done. With the all the sex you want comes sooooooooo much drama! It was good when I was younger but I woldn't do it again!

From my experience, (and this is just a generalization)many strippers have big time emotional problems, not to mention drug problems. I haven't dated a stripper, but I know strippers and I know people that have dated them. It never worked out. If you want a big confidence boost, it would be fun to roll in the hay with one for a couple weeks though.

Some of them do make excellent money. But the hours they work, makes it really hard to have any kind of normal relationship.
