Could you go out with someone who goes days without saying "I Love You" I don't say it often enough for my current significant other...and it is causing problems...I guess because I don't really feel it....I like him alot...but not sure what love is....so I don't say it....Any advice...

to me...they're just words
showing it means more than anything else as long as you are good to each other and compliment each others views and such... i see no need for the daily ritual of it all |

I don't feel the need to be told that I'm loved daily, that's a little insecure.

Saying it is a personal thing not all are able to say it freely and to many say it without meaning it.
If their action say I love you then words are not as necessary but it's always nice to hear them. |

Parroting words mindlessly, repetitiously, and without meaning is probably worse than not saying them at all, the way I see it....I guess I see "dishonest" as being worse than "non-committal"....don't say it if you don't feel it....

if i was actualy in love, and hearing her say it would make my knees wobble, if io don't get that warm tingly feeling inside, when she says it and she says it to often, i would be looking for the door. because it isn't just a word

I think that the tone of approval/appreciation in the everyday words says "I love you" or not. |

Its in the actions, not the words. And don't say it if you don't mean it.
But it is nice to hear it once in a while. |

It's totally okay not to say it..don't lead him on. people just get more hurt when you tell them you love them and take things so much more seriously. tell him you care about him and maybe one day it will turn into love. |

my boyfriend says it almost too much...I know I don't say it enough...sometimes the mood isn't just right or we are talking and he just stops and tells me how much he loves me. Kind of scares me sometimes.
