I know women don't want a one night stand... but I have found that if you go to e mail some one who stated in their profile LTR, that, in the email section there is a filter thats says you can not respond if your looking for an intimate encounter.. and I am not a fool..tsk tsk name calling? It just doesn't make a whole lot of sense being adults and all.

Because they want to be with somebody instead of shacking up with them for one night.

Is it really that hard to get. They are trying to weed out the guys who are just looking to get a piece of ass and not interested in anything else.

are you so sure? I came to this site because I was asked to by a friend.. I stayed because of the forums.. And yes I have talked with a few ladies via e mail..And to straighten some facts here... I wouldn't e mail most ofthe women on this site. thats my preference. But as for that intimate encounter that I am looking for.. I sure as heck don't need this site for that. your pretty judgemental without knowing something about someone... as I said I will take the heat from this....its okay really I can handle it.

I can answer it though....they either get that at in their local community (hooking up in bars) or they simply can resist and eventually put sex behind many other things for years in some cases. Here, they are looking for long term relationship "the one"- who usually doesn't really exist, only they lower their expectations after a while and just finally decide to beam on the closest match.

Now I'm gonna get some hate-mails from women..

If someone was looking for something other than an intimate encounter (just sex) there are other choices. Why would you choose intimate encounter if you were looking for more than that?

there's nothing wrong with asking a question and having it clarified (at least from someone else's perspective).

i always had problems with understanding what was meant by 'activity partner'. the addition of 'intimate encounter' helped clarify it somewhat.

I think it includes all activities but the bedroom ones!
