He's obviously not just looking for someone to spend time with... unless it's in the bedroom.

Tell him straight out that you find his texts inappropriate and disrespectful. I've found bein honest and blunt tends to stop the inappropriate behavior and gets an apology.smokin

It's hard to tell if he's a perv or just making sure you're not a prude... I'd play it off innocently and see where he goes with it... I always say extend the roped as long as they need it, if they hang themselves that's their bad...

Yeah, he kinda seems like an ok guy...he has not said anything horrible so I have been just kind of joking about it. But I was hoping for a really nice guy...

If you're interested in him, based on your coffee together, then it seems like a good thing to me!

If you don't want to discuss those details yet, just explain that to him, and invite him out for lunch or dinner or something.

Keep in mind, too, that there's nothing wrong with what he's doing--many people want to know your preferences in the bedroom. Unless you NEVER want it to get there, you only have to decide whether you'd rather talk about it now or wait until later.

Sorry to hear about that. I never joke about sex on the first couple of dates because I don't want things going in the wrong direction.
I was having a conversation with my male roommate the other day about this and told him that I end up losing guys I'm dating because I won't sleep with them for a few weeks or a month while I get to know them and decide if I really want a relationship with them. I don't really care because they are apparently not guys I wanna date anyway. He mentioned this to a group of his friends who all said they would dump me after a week or two if I hadn't put out. One guy said he had an $80 rule. If he'd spent $80 on a girl and she hadn't slept with him he was gone. Is this really what we've come to???

Well Mry, for me a nice guy is still nice even if he talks a little juicy as long as he isn't disrespectful...

Haven't you ever played 20 questions? For everyone he asks you ask one... If he doesn't answer then you stop answering...

All I think that each person has to do what works for him.. I was told basically the same thing by a guy when he told me if a guy spent $60 on dinner they expect something in return.. I told him I was used to $300 dinners so his $60 was like a tip! I didn't go out with his cocky azz again!

Hun You are not alone.. I am celibate, until I find the 1 I plan on spending the rest of my life with..I feel & believe if they truly love me they will understand & respect me for it..if not they can move on..My last relationship,He did respect it..and talked highly of me because of it..though we did not work out..He felt that thats how women should be I guess..No disrespect to anyones choices..just that he meant he ran into a lot of 1st daters..and saod he had little to no respect for them..because of it..indifferent

I just can't figure it out...how can you be so respectful and then just text something like that? LOL Another text was "SEXY LACE OR GRANNYS?" LOL,I just said certainly not grannys...

It's not disrespectful, but it is blunt and to the point. It's not uncommon, though it may clash with your style.

Just do whatever feels right.
