My Mother was born & raised on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation in North Dakota... She taught us to stay close to our roots in the Native American Way.
She also taught us to be very aware of our natural surroundings...whether it was predicting the weather or even understanding the mood we were in... Do you look for signs & omens...& how does it affect your life?

Stop signs, I really pay attention to them.
Once I ignored one, almost cost me my life. Other than that, just the sky. The clouds and the light. The Moon and the stars. |

I have been here 23 years, and had HEAPS of cyclones wander past.... this one scares the crap out of me...!!! Weird, but true... I am hanging around here waiting for the next Bureau of meteorolgy update at 8, then gone.... to help others secure their place.... mine's done... just the waiting.... it's creepy. |

The only signs I pay attention to are the pains in my knees. I use them to predict serious storms in the summer time. I've been able to predict a storm 3 days out and give you a 2 hour window of when its going to hit.

the more one see ALL things as having profound meaning, the more profound sight one afforf itself...
to believe in miracles is religion, to believe EVERYTHING is a miracle is wisdom... the true equality of sight the brian has avialable to itself, can never be surmized by the mind, until self see nothing as a negative or positive, but rather all things as telling a most crucial thing to know... if at first positive NATURALLY tries to guide, to see it is only negative that ever taught man anything new, and what was better, help to embrace what "appear" or "feel" as a negative, which lead to the DISOLVING OF ALL NEGATIVE THAT EVER ONCE EXISTED for anything human... true equal sight free anything to see each miniscule and large thing effect everything equally, as omens tend to enforce only SOME things effect more than other's... everything is circle, and one drop of large, or one drop of small, STILL CHANGE, so to focus on the small be against the natural inclination, but lead to the SEEING WHAT REALLY CREATE ALL THINGS, since self has no problem seeing what is big... self is creating each it's own reality, and does so blindly until it can SEE HOW... |

I've had more mystical encounters than I can name or recall. My life has been SO led by it. Don't see that changing, ever. SO much of where I stand now, played out from following "the way". Sidebar Phuque: My daughter is half Native American also, Chocktaw Chikasaw. Her dad was born on the Oklahoma Reservation. Must get y'all/us together sometime. We really seem to have a great deal in common, love.

Do you look for signs & omens...& how does it affect your life? Raised out in the country (Still live there) all the old folks watched/were aware... It just naturally rubbed off on me... I love nature, and look for odd behaviour from insects/birds/animals... (Although I have missed seeing a COP a couple times... That is until I saw his blue lights...)

Should add, I'm half Norwegian Laplander(from my mother's side also), Europes version of Natives! And, the other half of me is Eirish, so very 100% Celtic-Paganesque. I'm of the land and knowing type and ways ... ALWAYS!!!

I get most of my signs in dreams......and "feelings" I get from people....or some things just hit me in the head randomly.
