I know this sounds kinda odd coming from a 23 year old dude, but I want advice. Somehow I recently witnessed this series called Air TV. Now, normally I am not into this anime stuff, but this show really touched me. I loved the story, and I loved the characters. The ending could have been better, but overall I thought it was quite amazing. Is there any other series anyone recommends that is similar to Air TV?

I personally have not seen it yet BUT I read the synopsis and have this recommendation,

Ki-ki's Delivery Service.

Fore something extra funny and in a different air look up Ranma 1 / 2. it is not Ranma one half but Ranma One, Two. Let me just say it is funny in capital letters.

No shame in liking anime. The only shame is getting too deep into it.

You know what I mean....

Anime endings can be somewhat different from what I would want or expect. Since most are coming across from a different culture, there are usually things that make me go 'Huh'?

The two most recent Anime series I have watched are Kanon and Last Exile. I enjoyed both, but I think I enjoyed Kanon the most.

Hentai

Hentai is more the Porn end of Anime. Some of it is extremely sick like Urotsukodoji also known as 'Legend of the Overfiend.' Tentacle sex and demons come to mind for this title! There are three whole genres of Hentai dedicated to sex with VERY young girls and I don't care how anyone tries to rationalize it you had better have a very open mind to Hentai because there is another flavor that is all about HE-SHEs and trust me, they are drawn with more equipment than is physically possible.

Main stream anime has nothing to do with Hentai!

AS long as you are not into Anime for porn you can avoid Hentai. There are plently of titles that have nothing to do with sex or porn.

If you are looking for the sexual experience then Hentai is for you!

Additional good animes are Howl's Castle, Nausica Warrior of the Wind, Pom Poko (one of my personal favorites), Spirited Away (another serious fave), and Animatrix! If you want to see something that is like Hello Kitty on Acid there is Cat Soup and for a real taste treat there is Tamala 2010 a Punk Cat In Space
which is just very strange. Akira is candy for teh eyes adn food for thought.

For something of the Korean flavor and yes I did say Korean there is one I found totally on accident called Yobi the Five Tailed Fox (in Korea it is called Yew-Woo-Bie). If you are not left with misty eyes at the end of that one you are a heartless beast and this is coming from someone who is Draconian and cute does not affect me!

Most of these titles can be seen on >watch-movies-links.net.< This is where I have discovered a couple of movies I liked a lot purely on accident!

Ahhh...I was just messin with the dude. I'm sure he probably knows all about Hentai if he watches porn. Personally...not my cup of tea. Some of those Japanese people are pretty deviant.

A few that werent mentioned....

Steamboy
Grave Of The Fireflies

Hentai...HAHA. Anyway, thanks for some of those suggestions. I like the fantasy type with maybe a little bit of drama...you know like something to do with space travel, floating worlds, things like that...but I enjoy some love stories intertwined in there.

Nausicca sounds right up your alley. Pretty much everything you just described. Also check out Princess Mononoke.

Have you watched Kiddy Grade? Don't let the name fool you, it's not about children.
