As Down2earthdebbie posted, you'll have to create a new account and deactivate this one, angelindarkness. Good luck with your new account, if you do indeed decide to go ahead with it.

I tried to deactivate and open a new account, even with a different email addy, but it seems Mingle2 is not "seeing" my account or profile and I am unable to request, make friends, or make forum posts. Any idea why this might be or how to fix it?

This is likely a caching issue, Try clearing cache and cookies, also, on the new account, you will need cookies enabled. Let me know if this doesn't work and we will try to fix it for you. *edit* you will need to log out of the old account, and log into the new one. Once you have the new account working, you will need to go back and deactivate it. |

Now, its looking like the new account is gone, altogether. It is not coming up when I try to login and I am also not getting an email when I request the forgotten password. I thought maybe I had the wrong password, but the account no longer seems to be tied to my email anymore, either.
Any ideas on what may be causing the problem? The new user name was angelfire or angelfiredream |

angelindarkness, the new account should work once again. There was a problem with it, but I'm fairly sure that we have solved it.
