Breaking News - Farrah Fawcett has just passed away.

Farrah Fawcett, who skyrocketed to fame as one of a trio of impossibly glamorous private eyes on TV's Charlie's Angels, has died after a long battle with cancer. She was 62.

Fawcett died at 9:28 a.m. PST at St. John’s Heath Center in Santa Monica, Calif. She had recently returned to St. John's for treatment of complications from **** cancer, first diagnosed three years ago. Her longtime partner Ryan O'Neal was at her side throughout her final days.

Prayers for her soul and family. Tragic story but she was a woman who proved to be incredibly courageous and strong. The dignity and strength with which she met her illness and coming death was amazing. I can only hope to emulate that someday

That is so sad to hear. She was really fighting hard to stay alive. Prayers for the family!

Sad. I enjoyed her parts. Just goes to show that fame and money can't win against illness.

1. Ed McMahon
2. Farrah Fawcett
3. ?

I'm guessing the 3rd is going to be Patrick Swayze.

Wow how fragile life really is .. I just heard in the paper the other day THAT she FINALLY agreed to marry Ryan O'Neal as well.. it was to be in the hospital ... wonder if they did ???
