i haven't found any use for feelings and i think i'll be alright without them. i try to think and rationalize my way through things. and i attempt to avoid things that will provoke an emotional response.
people not in control of their emotions and feelings can harm others.

i may not always be in complete control, but i keep my wits about me enough to recompose myself before i lose control.

usually it's the weak people who repress their feelings cuz they don't want to get hurt, especially this happens when they already had this bad experience. to me it's a weakness rather than a strength to repress ur feelings, because of this one or 2 or 10 bad experiences u had.

nothing more interesting at some points then getting ur brain at ground zero and go all the way without thinking but just feeling. yeahuw

you call it weakness, i call it learning.

if you grab a hot dish and get burned do you do it again and again, time after time, hoping that eventually the results will be different? or do you learn from it and wait for it to cool before grabbing it the next time.
life is about learning from your experiences and mistakes.
but we all have free will. feel free to continue charging in with reckless abandon undaunted by the previous experiences if that lets you feel strong.
i prefer to learn and alter my tactics.

Whoever said watch who you should make yourself vulnerable towards is right on. A good friend refers to it as personal power. The issue is that two people must compliment one another and ALSO be able to appropriately understand and manage the personal power of their partner.

Opening up and sharing takes time and should just make a natural progression as situations arise and things come up. If something happens in your life that is very dramatic or upsetting, and you just started dating someone..... don't stress the relationship or burden the other person. Just take a step back. Be honest about it, just not detailed. for example, I have a personal situation I need to handle. I really like you and want to keep seeing you, but I need a bit of time to resolve this so I can focus on you when we're together.

This is for many reasons.... and most importantly I'd say that a relationship should start as solidly as possible. If you are weak and vulnerable, it's NOT a good time to enter into a romantic situation.

Does a woman like it when a man shows his true feelings and really open to her?

Some do -- others file it away as potential future ammunition. I personally have learned not to open up to anyone too quickly (if at all) -- it can, all too often, turn into a "shooting yourself in the foot" scenario.

I mean as a man I'm not sure what a woman is looking for...for some reason girls say "why cant i find a good man?" ....i think the main point of dating is basically to have a family in the future..what do u think?

I certainly HOPE the main point of dating is not to have a family....if that's the case, I'll stop now!

As for "what they're looking for" -- I don't think there can be any sort of blanket answer. Different people (regardless of gender) are looking for different things. I do agree with your premsie that the overwhelming majority probably ARE thinking family, but I'm sincerely hoping there might be an exception!

Yes, we do. But, we can also see their true feelings if we look closely enough, without them saying a word.

all things in moderation bro, too much of a good thing is just as bad as not enough..., try showing it as well.... :P

Being able to show emotion/feelings does not make one vulnerable...

Having 'puppy' feelings can lead to huge mistakes.

Being mature enough to know the difference will temper that sudden urge to blurt out drippy nonsense.

SHOWING emotion does not mean 'saying' it means I FEEL...

And living within that feeling...
