I prefer IMing. I hate texting and don't really like talking on the phone. While most girls learned phones skills, I had a friend who talked like crazy. I could spend two hours on the phone and say 5 words the entire time. So IMing works. I have a full keyboard, I type much faster than I can text. Yeah,I type pretty fast. But with my phone I can text no matter where I am. What can I say? I'm EXTREMELY social. Plus, I text so fast that my friend Aaron once told me he was surprised my thumb wasn't singed.  I tend to babble on the phone, and don't rather like talking on it much. Texts are more efficient way to get what you need said and get a response, while doing other things. Exactly why I like it, too. You can get so much more done, and still be social with friends or family or SOs. |

How about sending them a letter via USPS  My friend Jill still does that, and I think it's awesome. Thing is, I'm horrible about mailing ANYTHING. I've had the same book of stamps in my purse for AGES.

Nah. They're just forever stamps.
But I DO have a first edition Hemingway my grandma gave me for my birthday. It was my great-grandma's... been in the family since it was brand new. And as far as I'm concerned, no matter how much it's worth, it'll STAY here.  plus you can always say their i/m or text didnt come though if u want to ignore them! SHH! We're not supposed to SAY that!

If it's a Little Tidbit like a "Hello" or a "Just thinking of you" "Good Morning or Good Night" I'd rather send / receive a text VS nothing at all... But if it's the Man I love, who's Voice and Body are 2300 Miles away from me at Present... I'd rather he Called...

I'd prefer to call instead of texting. I personally find text messaging people rather annoying as well as pointless- I mean... you have a PHONE, NOT a computer... you CALL and TALK to people on a phone... NOT send them text messages. I agree 100% |

I use metro pcs so long distance is not charged by the minute, and I have it unlimited, on long dist, local, text, net, picture text.
I pay 60.00 a month and call whenever and wherever I want in the us. One price. I do any of them. |

Sometimes I am emailing here back and forth, and then I say WTF?? And pick up the phone and call them. Sometimes I txt them. Sometimes its just fun. |

Except my kids, and we can't talk. BAD reception.  So, yeah, sometimes ya want a voice. Just... for me... not most the time. As for the dirty convo... I have a little story about that. My female friend and I had just started fooling around and trying new things. I had this major crush who knew it and felt the same about me, but who was dating someone else (LONG story). Well, my friend and I took a pic on her phone of... things... while we were playing around, and sent it to him while we were all in the same room -- including his gf! The look on his face was PRICELESS! My friend and I had to work VERY hard not to LOAO!!!! And before y'all start judging me... ah f*** it. I don't care. It was funny!
