I just got back from the hospital where my daughter had a two hour operation to remove quite a large cyst from her groin. I accompanied her to the theater doors and waited for to come out ( the longest two hours) she looked so lost and vulnerable in the huge bed they had her in ( my poor lamb) five minutes later she wanted to get out of bed and was told off by the nurses, they reminded her that she has had an operation under anesthetic and it was not safe for her to walk ( just yet)............. She was refusing to use a bed pan !!! That's when I knew she was going to be alright! For those who sent me emails and kept my little one in their prayers, my heartfelt thanks, I felt the love and care flowing. I love you all.

Excellent news, Bonny! Here's to a speedy recovery and no bedpans being thrown at annoying nurses in the interim!

Excellent news, Bonny! Here's to a speedy recovery and no bedpans being thrown at annoying nurses in the interim! Lex !!! I had only gone to the day room and could hear my daughter's voice saying "Don't you come near me with that!!" I scurried back to find her curled up in a ball at the top end of the bed and a very amused nurse standing over her with a bed pan in her hand, the nurse relented, we carried my daughter to the ladies !! She is not a good patient I'm afraid, but she is being totally spoilt by all the older women in the ward as she is the youngest there. chickayoshi, thank you |

I am really happy to hear your daughter is doing well, I also missed the prior post. Amazing the spunk the "young uns" have when they decide they don't want to do something. Hmmmm, sounds like she may be a little on the "fiesty" side like her mom???
Sounds like she is bouncing right back and will be up and around in no time. Take care. |
