my girlfriend and i broke up after 3 years. She cheated on me. I was and still am crushed and hurt.I would like to move on and meet someone else, but i am very afraid and don't trust anymore.Any advice on how to get over this and move on and is the any good girls left?

If you are that hurt, then i dont think you need to be getting involved with online dating just yet.

Time....just give it time. You need that to heal.

Something similar happened to me in November. All advice is probably well-meaning. You just have to sift through it and see what works best for you. I got to the point that if ne more person said to me that it takes time, I would have gladly decked them. But it's true. Time and how you choose to process what happened. Self-blame never works 'cause it was never about you in the first place. These people will never learn about accountability. It's all about self-gratification. This too will pass, trust me.

I always tell people this: Everybody is different, and just because one person treated you badly, it doesn't mean the next one will too.

It is hard sometimes to trust people, because you have this idea in the back of your mind that the bad thing that happened with Person A will also happen with Person B. Well, that's possible! But by no means is it inevitable.

The first thing you do when you meet someone new is ask to smell their feet. If they are dirty rotten cheaters their feet will not lie. Cheaters never take good care of their feet and that is where foot odor started in America !!! Good Luck my Brother !!!

Go dancing, or learn to dance. Seriously. You get to trust people, but not too damn much.

Give it time! But take a year off from dating an just enjoy your life Man! Hang with frinds an just have fun the pain will pass.
