In the year 2000?
I was 25 and I was dating a girl for a year. Had a lot of parties especially the '99-2000 new year's party. I was very drunk. Later, I was disappointed, because the world didn't end and nobody invented the flying car that folds up to be a suitcase, like in the Jetsons. |

I was 40 and was getting a divorce and moving across the county. First I had to go to the judge and have my 14 year old son released because he was locked up on pot charges..

good question. i read your post and tried to think back, i cant remember anything specific, my son was 3, my other son wouldn't be born for 5 more years....just working and being a mom...

I had to work that night, Y2K, because everyone thought the world was going to go crazy and systems fail.
My staff and I sat back, ate chicken burritos and watched fireworks as nothing happened.

Finally got my RN, getting clinic system ready for JCAHCO accreditation, living out in Colorado.

I was 34 yrs old, still in a bad marriage looking to get out..............

The 6 year relationship I was in ended Dec 27th 1999. I used the new year to reinvent myself.
2000 was a great personal growth year for me!  |

I graduated grade 8...Had the most destructive grad party kids could without being drunk.
We had 3 of the school badazzes topless on the tables to DMX  My brother was so proud. |

I was 35......dating someone.......I was a hairdresser at the time and living in my old home town with my son.
And yes I was quite disappointed during the newyears eve when the world didnt explode and I saved all those milk jugs full of water for a year. But I do remember shaking my booty at the party.....I think I made up a new dance.
