those soft collars are only foam rubber

maybe you could get one and cut about a inch off the bottom with a sharp knife or a razor blade or something?

I wonder if massage would help at all, maybe to loosen up the tight muscles. Won't help the discs, of course, but may help some with pain relief.

Feel better soon, I had a herniated disc and understand the pain myself. Call your doc in the morning for refills on your meds.

Doll sorry you are feeling bad. No fun for sure. Ask your doc if he can give you Voltaren gel. It is expensive but it works way better than the pills. and you ony have to use a little bit to get the result.

You may want to get your surgery done before you have some other complicatiing factor, like heart issues from chronic stress and can't have it done. The younger you are the faster you will heal. You won't believe how mut bette life feels once you are not in chronic pain.

A serrated cake or bread knife is the easiest way to cut foam smoothly. Toobe sock makes a great cover and it more bearable to wear.
