I had a friend that i have known for 3 years and the week of the 12th this month we decided to be a couple. I met up with him and his friends last Thursday to Halloween Horror nights and that went ok I guess. I started to notice after that he wasn't calling me as much and I have these weird feelings something was wrong with him, the sound in his voice was different he seem to have a headache each time i talk to him. So Monday morning I decided to text him "hey we haven't had a real conversation whats going on and I asked If he wanted to be with me still or just be friends just let me know. So the whole day went by and I text-ed him again he responded that there was a lot going on with him and work was crazy and on top of it I sent him that text. so he didn't talk to me for 3 days after that. Last night he finally texted me and what I found out was that hes visiting another girl today and taking a few days off from work just to be with her he says" he was going to help her out cause hes such a good friend. I though that was messed up of him.

you didn't do anything wrong. it is him. he is having problems of what ever kind that he needs to deal with. you can either be there for him as a friend or just move on completely. but let him come to you. you go on with your life

He sounds like a liar, he could have taken a few minutes to answer your text. If he doesn't want to date anymore, he could have had the courtesy to tell you instead of ignoring you and then making excuses. He made time to be with this other woman, but none for you. He's not worth your time. Chalk it up to another lesson learned and move on.

It happens that things do not "click" and, as I asume he liked you but was not falling crazy for you, he did simply not know what to do.


Some people have not the backbone nor the knowledge how to communicate "bad news" and so, look at the bright side, you still have a better man to meet - and you will - but, as it is said: ...love can take its time...

sometimes men find it difficult to tell the complete and whole truth, as they need to have something aside in case what they are currently pursuing doesn't work out...I mean let's face it, if you were in a shaky relationship but could have another woman aside waiting for you, as selfish as it is, you're doing much more to preserve your own happiness, despite the way it buggers up other people's lives.
