I got a few... I put pics of them on my profile because I have actually had men be disgusted that I have tattoos so I want them to know before hand. I love tattoos on men or women.. I think its a great way to express yourself!

Hi Silvercloud! I agree about the showing first hand so others are aware as I'm inked head to toe and obviously I'm still going, this is number 11, but I'm also not going to let what they think stop me. I love the ink on men and women and if the person that is interested doesn't like it then they aren't the right person for me.

Nice tatt lurchs_sister,However I dont like the location.

tatts are fine long as they are done in good taste
What annoys me the most, are people who get foreign lettering(chinese seems popular)then when you ask'em what it means they respond with
"I _think_it means peace or something like that"spock
(We all have met these people at one time or another)
For all they know it could read grab here for deep throat action!slaphead

Yeah tats are hot if done right, I am really not into the ones on the faces and such, kinda limits the job fields (unfortunately), but it does. I have several and for those of you who don't like it, who cares, too many people in the world for us to worry about what you think.

I have a sun on my lower back, a rose on my ankle and a naked fairy on my back.

It's funny, I don't pay much attention to my ink, but I went into a medical procedure and the surgical nurse (male) noticed the sun on my back and asked if I had more ink. bigsmile He was kinda cute *giggles* too worried about the procedure to look for a ring!

I think there should be a story for each tattoo. Many folks
get a tattoo (tattoos) because it's the "in thing" to do,
without any thought for a meaning behind it. It's easy to
tell when it's for "coolness": it's "flash" (tattoo art
hangin' on the walls of the studio).

My ink is found here (all custom artwork):

Amazing work, I humbly bow down to a Master. You are just... Wow!

My artist (her and her hubby work at a shop in the D.C. area)
has some work on her chest, but won't get it finished because
she says "it hurts too much" :)

Sometimes I think my life would be easier if I just dated a tattoo artist

Oddly enough, my artist's hubby hasn't done any of her work.

I love the simplicity of "Jinx's" -star- artwork:

She also just recently got a mermaid tatt on her forearm.

Thanks ... "master"?? I didn't do any of the work, I just
sat there and went through the pain :) And I kid you not.

The outline was done while I was "living" in D.C. working
on a project there ... the project ended so I came back home
to Texas ... I had to fly to D.C. to get the color done on
the mermaid, so to maximize my short visit, my artist
devoted her whole workday (6 hours worth) to finish "Lana".

It was one of the most intense sessions I've had with
her, meaning the most "painful". The last 2 hours
were the worse - I wanted sooo much to tell her, "stop",
but I didn't want to do another round-trip ticket to
finish up :)

I like ink as long as it is done well. Homemade tat's look kind of ugly. Doesn't seem fair that people get discriminated against for it. I don't see what is wrong with just getting a tat you like because you like the design. Not everything has to have some deep meaning.
