in love and war.

We have all heard this saying, but what about when you suspect you SO is cheating?

How far would you go if you suspect your SO is cheating? Would you just walk away even though you don't have proof? Would you try to get proof? Would you stay even with these suspicions

If I suspect that someone I was with was cheating, I would talk to her, let her know I was suspicious and why and the relationship would be over.

what if they deny it?

I would have to end the relationship anyway. I still wouldn't be able to trust her, and that just wouldn't be fair.

good point totage. Even if the other was innocent and I just had doubts, that wouldn't be fair to the other person

I got the idea for this when I was flipping through channels. Both Cheaters and Sex Decoy are on.

Would anyone ever use these shows to bust someone? What do you think the mind set of someone that uses these shows be?

I think alot of times, they dont want to make sure the cheater takes the blame for the break up. Without the proof, the cheater can make up all types of stories putting the blame on the one they cheated on. Especially in marriage, its hard to use lack of trust as a reason to leave, if adultery is the only reason your faith allows.

here is good one that my ex hubby acccused me of.. this was way before we even got married, there was this old man that lived downtown in this hotel and a friend of mine and i would often talk to him when we were in town. well that one day my ex hubby(bf at the time) we were down town and that old man was there so i went up and said hi to him and i talked to him for a brief, and just before tha ex hubby wanted me to catch the bus home, but i waited for the next bus so i could talk to that old man,, the funny part was my ex hubby accused me on cheating with that old man LOL!! geeze that old man was in his 80s i dont think so...

The old saying that "two wrongs do not make a right" comes to mind.

While no one can always read the future or truely stoop to the level of understanding someone who is devious enough to cheat resisting the burning desire to enact a certain level of revenge only elevates you to the higher plain of being a classy person.

In some situations your diginity is about all you can walk away with in some situations but that can be a lot. Especially if you do it for the innocents that are often caught in these disasterous situations.

of course hes a dead beat dad.. i dont even see him as my son dad. he saw him 2yrs ago for the first time sense he was 2yrs old. and the reason he saw him 2yrs ago was, my son was in the hospitol and we didnt know if he was going to make it. i actually harrassed his dad so much that he gave in and came down brought his wife and daughter and i sware his daughter had more freaken brains than he did.. we didnt tell my son his dad was there for we didnt know if there would had been any problems, and when my son was released from the hospitol(he was there for 3weeks) you would think his dad would call,, heck no it was his wife that called to see how he was doing.
i wouldnt had called his dad in the first place but i felt that i should and my family didnt think he had the right, well i thought so at the time

In my one and only marriage I knew he was seeing someone...I thought about it for a day or two, about how far I wanted to take it. I had decided to take it as far as was needed, even if it mean the end of the marriage. I confronted him, he lied at first, when I gave him the out, he took it.

That happened to me along time ago, when I suspect he was cheating I just confronted him about it and he told me this story. What I wound up doing is calling the places he said he was at and guess what? The places never heard of him. He was so BUSTED.....

Yes, the proof is in the pudding. Don't just accuse, get the proof you need by finding out, and then send them on their merry way. Do not forgive them and allow them to keep repeating this same behavior, because they will, count on it. Hit the road Jack, or Jane, once you know for sure.

I have to admit that I don't like the unknown and it's hard for me to have closer when there is the unknown. I can live without knowing, but it might drive me crazy for a time laugh

then again...I'd feel like crap if he was innocent and I was being paranoid
