I'm confident and know that my wide open eyes could show me something I may not want to see sometimes but regardless it must be seen and better soon than later...

That would suck. I'm sorry. flowerforyou

I feel so fortunate that my SO is job searching in California. We have active plans for relocation within the year. For now, twice a month flights back and forth from Florida to Cali is what keeps us motivated.

I wish you well. biggrin

Melody, you are doing a LDR with someone in FL. and your in CA. ....
wow!! Ya just had to pick one on the other side of the country. See, now that gives me hope.

i had a long distance relationship
with my ex hubby way before we ever got married
we were together off and on for 2yrs before we got married
he was living in eastern oregon 400miles away from where i live
i know that he cheated more than once
he had a son 3months before our son was born
when i finally had enough i kick him out of the house
4 differnt times the 4th was the last
and he ended up with this one lady and they had a child together
this was before our divorce, i gave him a yr to get off his
butt to file and he made a excuse stating there was no place to file.
(idiot) there is a place to get married there is a place to file
he didnt want to pay
while he was with the one girl he met his 2nd wife(yepps he cheated on the gf) and they eventually got married its been 18yrs if i recall
and they have a daughter.. i wouldnt be suprised if he cheated on his 2nd wife
hes a cronic lyer.
he told her that i burned his clothes which i never did
he told her that he kicked me down the stairs.(THAT DEFFENTLY NEVER HAPPEN)
while i was pg with my son. a friend of mine was going through some
problems in her marriage so i let her stay. he tried all
night to get down her pants and she was brushing him
away all nite
she had a class she had to go to the next morn
and she called me to let me know what was going on
i comfronted him while i still on the phone with her
and he laughed about it, and i told him point blank
that i belive her more than i before him
he didnt say much... even though he denied it. i knew him well enough

Like Calliegh said.

Long distance CAN work but only if both people are 100% vested in it doing so.

" Distance " is also a relative thing.

One woman I dated thought a 90 minute drive was too much.

I have been talking to someone that is about 5 1/2 hours drive from where I live.

To me, that's no big deal. But there are lots of guys who wouldn't be willing to drive an hour.

It's all going to depend on the two people involved.

yeah, that is pretty cool. So the next time someone tells me their interested, but distance is a problem I will think about you. I can see how it would be challenging..as it has been stated over and over again..if someone wants to be with ya, they will find a way.
I've got a real strong feeling that "he" isn't going to be from Utah.... just a intuitive thing and I have felt it for some time now.

Yes, indeed there is always HOPE !!!!

Like Alexander Pope once wrote in his "An Essay on Man", :-

"Hope springs eternal in the human breast:
Man never is, but always to be blest.
The soul, uneasy and confined from home,
Rests and expatiates in a life to come."

Good luck to you all my friends.flowerforyou
