If you found out your partner had been cheating with someone for the past several months or if you found out they'd had a large number of one night stands with many different people?
BOTH would be seen by me as Both BAD and goodbye,,
I had always told my ex,,anyone can make a mistake,,lets hope we niether one ever do,,but to have an affair or doing someone knowing what you were doing,,,was a goodbye,,,I ment as through drinking and going out,,we were apt to maybe flaw in actions not becoming us,,,wink,,but to do another in any fashion,,because YOUR bored of the one you say you love,,,NOPE,,notta,,see-ya..

why would anyone write it off as sexual addiction and treat it any different? one affair or a string of affairs it's all the same.

cheating is cheating...if the addiction is to sex, why is it that one can't have the sex with their partner? or would that be looked at as having a healthy relationship?

it is funny how, often times it's when a person gets caught, all of the sudden, they have an addiction. what a great way to not have to take responsibility for ones own actions.

Can't fathom the difference.

The difference is that he or she may be in love with someone else or they may have some sexual addiction.

cheating is a broad term, basicly being unfaithful what does her reason for being a hoe matter? Not like she was forced to be a hoe, she chose to be of her own will. Ditch that hoe.

Niether scenario sit well with me. For the first, he'd be gone..period. For the second, while we may all have skeletons, "a LARGE number of one night stands with MANY different people" is not wise in today's world of STDs and while it may be their business, it becomes mine if we are going to be intimate and he'd get tested or I'd move on.

I think the personal insult would be greater if it were one lover over a time period.

Here's a metaphor: Which is worse? A bank robber who kept hitting the same bank and never getting caught over the last 7 months? Or-
A bank robber who hit 15 banks in a one week period. Seems pretty clear that both are really bad. But the one who kept hitting the same bank and never getting caught sounds especially nefarious to me.
