Apparently blunt truthfulness is intimidating to some. Also if you are not afraid to confront those bullies, that seems to be intimidating also. I don't ever try to intimidate intentionally. But it happens. Yes, many must be far less than honest, to be so unabashedly afeared of the simple, clean, naked truth! It makes a person less than trustful to consider how much "untruthfulness" is encouraged in social interactions actually. Pomp ... Pageantry Poseurs ... Professional sales ... ... The Emperor's new clothes ... I've been persecuted for my naked honesty all my life ... Just drives me on to find the rarely such truthful in kind ...  Me too. Helluva lotta barbed wire, red tape, mirage and snare pits, uh??? Still, the rare gems uncovered on the slippery obstacle course? Make the trials, travails and tribulation so much more than worthwhile, if exhausting! Very true. They are far and few. |

note.....lately, a few people have stopped and wanted pictures of them with a guy with a mohawk they say......that's never happened before. i don't know how to feel about that....mixed feelings for sure, but mostly good. funny how people are.

I don't know that I've ever intimidated anyone.  LOL, I would have to say Melodygirl, your one of those women I would have to shoot in both legs in a dark alley then ask why your there, LOL Hmmm, well, I wouldn't be in a dark alley.  Please don't shoot me!

I have been told that I do. But I think it's because I don't let many people get that close.

I guess this leads to the deeper question: Have you ever been in a situation where you have met someone for the first time and suddenly they are scared of you for no reason? I have had that happen as well and not even saying a word to that person. Just a thought, ANdy...but do you think it may have had something to do with the axe you were carrying around??? LOL |

I don't buy the "I don't do it intentionally" arguement, well unless your 6'4" and weight 400lbs and it's all muscle.
I go out of my way to make sure I do not to intimidate, but really it doesn't take any thing more than being considerate when dealing with people. If you find your profile or anything about you is intimidating to others and you know it, then it's intentional. |

LOL I doubt it. I was carrying a chain saw that day on my way to therapy.
