Your sister or brother is in a bad relationship, you love them very much, what would you do to help them, or save them? it might be over, or maybe there is some hope of saving their relationship, how do you comfort your sibling?

I have and older brother and a younger sister we all live pretty close within driving distance that is. We all have and understanding with each other we do not meddle in each others lives but we are always there if needed by the other. None of us have ever told the other to stay in a relationship nor end one. But.... if they go bad we are always the first one by their side to help them do what ever is needed and to be there for them...
To this day we three have never had a cross word with each other not even a small argument. And yes we are very close as well.....

Good thing I read the above post before I answered, because that's just what I was going to say. Although I don't have much experience at the sibling thing, the only brother I knew died in a car accident in the mid-eighties, and the one I finally found two years ago I have never met. No sisters.

Folks seem to need to make their own mistakes, gain their own perspective from experience ... Wisdom must be earned the hard way so often, unfortunately one of life's lil crueler tricks ... Be there for them when/if they crash and burn! |
