Had the phone interview today ..

OMG.

1 & 1/2 hrs .. talked about all kinds of stuff ..

My journey of faith (it's a Christian based child advocacy organization)

The organization itself ..

What my specific position would entail ..

How my skill set would address their requirements ..

And 2 mins for me to ask questions


The salary will be little less than double what I made in my last job and 4 times what I make on UI =) ..

And most importantly I would be able to be part of ending the cycle of poverty for underprivileged children

Throw up a prayer for me if you find time please

Oh ya .. IF I make it, next round of phone interviews in 2 weeks, then round 3 is team interviews from headquarters here.

The recruiter told me yesterday it might be another 2 weeks before I hear, since they had so many qualified applicants ..

BUT I just received a call ..

*DING* Round 2 has begun =) I have another phone interview with the National Event Director in WI, this Thursday!!!


I think I need to hold on tight .. looks like we're in for a WILD RIDE!!!! =)

Keeping my fingers crossed for you Fade.. I can relate as my son in law has been out of work almost 2 yrs with 2 boys graduating.. I don't know how people are doing it.. I help my family as much as possible...
