There is not a Popeye's around where I live. I wish you all could come to Ohio and try Buena Vista/Uncle Nicks chicken. Garlic marinaded, deep fried and better than any other fast food place.

There is a place in Houston called Frenchy's which is even better. Frenchy died last week so I don't know if the quality with continue at his small chain of outlets. Frenchy's is similar to Popeye's but with more spice. Both are Cajun style. Popeye's is certainly some of the best.

Hmmmm, all we have on the west coast is Kentucky Fried Chicken and it does not even raise a chuckle. 1990 there was one here, and it happened to be next to my work... which was 20 miles from where i lived , i drove there one evening to buy dinner... they rock.... and they are all over oregon now... they have put them in a lot of truck stops...mcminnville is the closest one to you though lol Ahhh thanks buttons, next time i go through McMinnville, I shall have to try it, is it off the highway? Never heard of them here at the coast. |

911 ne hwy 99... make sure u get their biscuits!! omg lol! i like the spicy chicken however its not too spicy...
i dont go out to eat much anymore.. but im telling you to me it made kentucky fried chicken more as you would compare a hoe made meal to a frozen banquet dinner  i never went back to kentucky fried chicken again lol
