I have been seeing someone from Mingle2 for one year as of tomorrow. Neither she nor I have have ever publicly stated who we are seeing. If you perv our profiles it would easy to figure out who it is.
Well......It is Lilypetal. We met for lunch on the Monday after the Fourth of July. What I hopefully figured would be a nice lunch,,,,possible a pleasant afternoon turned into a 7 hour date. It ended with a kiss that made me weak in the knees. We did the LDR until a couple of months ago when she moved up here, to be closer. We are going back to the scene of the first date tomorrow for lunch, visiting the first geocache we found that afternoon. Special One Year Anniversary travel bug coins will be placed in the geocache. I really didn't think I would find much in the way of a real relationship doing the online thing, but I was wrong. She is everything she presented herself online to be and so much more.

I never said 'who' before because sometimes it can cause unneeded drama, pressures and expectations. Relationships can be hard enough without the scrutiny of an online community. But after a yr. and it has been going so well. I thought my fellow Minglers should know. |
