I have done Thai boxing for a long time now and I started to do fighting gym because I needed to loose couple pounds before my competition. This is a great way to loose some extra pounds, improve your stamina and never to give up.

I really love this activity and I would be happy to chat with people who has similar interest, also I do personal training for beginners and people who would like to loose some weight ( withing 1 -3 hours session I usually loose 2 - 3 kgs) in my area or any area around East London ( E6) free of charge ;]]...

If you would be interested please let me know also I could give some tips on line, and I would be happy to listen to other people experience and use it.

I do kickboxing. I used to train in a class but it became too expensive. I do it on my own now but it's not just the same. It doesn't help that I can control how much I actually push myself. I liked it better when I had someone pushing me. It made me work harder.

I started with weights. I've gained some muscle but actually loosing weight has been unsuccessful. I've started slacking lately.

I cut out fast food which has been the best decision I could have possibly made. I did cut out added sugar for a while (when I was working out 4 times a week) but I have not seen any differences by doing that.

If you have suggestions I am willing to try them.

I looked into boxing.inc for either boxing, kick boxing,or the MMA but they are ridiculously over priced, I need to find something to help me drop about 60#. Maybe when school finishes I'll get out and hike more.

WolfEyes, I have heard that your body is more efficient with more muscle, but dont count so much on weight loss when youre starting with weight lifting.

Muscle weighs more than fat, so as you lose the fat you may not get lighter just yet. You may be getting smaller tho.

Ive just started weight lifting myself because my son cant take the weight lifting class w/o me present because of his age. I might as well use the gym too, ya? Im sore..meh.

I figured. Someone else mentioned that too. I want to join a gym but I can't. It's not a priority right now. Even when I spent a month working out 4 days a week, and walking in the park and forcing myself to do some running ... I still never saw any results.

If I could just find someone to work out with ...

if u wanna lose weight eat healthy and work out at least 3 times a week or more. Another thing that might help is eating less calories.

Try the YMCA, are they available to you?

They are but I found another place that's really inexpensive so I'm going there.
