Girlfirend, or boyfriend, spouse, etc.......well, you two have an argument over something silly. However, you can tell by your significant others actions that he/she will not rest until you admit that you are wrong and they are right. There is no room for compromise here. They want to win this argument.

So. For the sake of the relationship (due to the fact that you love this person), do you give in? Even if you believe that you are right, do you give in and give your partner what they want? Inquiring minds wanna know.

Yes, I would let him win the silly argument if it was that important for him to win. For me, making him happy would be more important than winning. I have learned to pick my battles. If the argument was about something major I would be more likely to stand my ground or work towards a compromise but causing tension between us over something silly doesn't seem to be in my best interest.

Besides in my head I would still know I was right!bigsmile

undoubtedly one reason Ima single - I will let u try to convince me u r right and then fine

I have no hidden agenda

but if I remain unconvinced ....well that is that -an you will prolly hear about it againlaugh

I will give in on some things even when I know Im right depends on what - if it's nothing dangerous or illegal I'll prolly give in-if I can - not cuz he's right but because it will make him happy

Yeah, I won everytime!!!

No i think it really depends on the topic on which the argument is over and where it places value in your moral system. Somethings are no big deal, while others are, I definitely think there is a common ground where a couple can agree to have different opinions on things and decide to move on with their relationship despite the difference. If it is something serious like whether or not you should have a child or spend $10,000 on a cruise then you should you hold your ground..
