Joined so a friend could use the smiley faced guys.... ....started reading the forums and joined in a conversation about llamas and a caulking gun.....and stayed. Long after I found the man who makes my life so much better on here, I stayed for the friendships I have made....... Just looked......today is my four year anniversary on here!!! Ha, that's awesome. I remember that!...you had to bring in 3 friends....to get access to the emoticons...!!! Those were the days my friend....

I joined in the beginning for dating and even met someone that I really liked. It didn't last because of the distance, though. I stayed because I've made friends here and have had the chance to meet a handful of them. Too bad there are really no locals, though.

I got curious at first. Then I found out this is one way of having a better understanding of why other people are this and that way. Also, this is an extension of me getting to know different folks from different walks of life.

Cant just think of any other place where many gr8 people sharing their thoughts,ideas,views about variety of topics under one roof Also kidding around with fun games & topics with them is entertaining.

I found this site, and thought I'd try it for possibly finding someone to get to know, and maybe date. But I have found many good friends(who I adore) I love the forums. I have found a few (scumball) scammers, and a couple of email buddies. I had a three month relationship with a fellow mingler(who is no longer around) that DID NOT work out( too many differences). But I'm still hopeful I may find someone for a relationship, that I may be able to get to, Seems like most of the men from my area, haven't been around for over a month.
