Everyone told me it would kill me when I turned 30, but it was no big deal. 40, however, floored me. It took me months to get over the depression. Can't even tell you why.
On my 50th birthday, my kids took me out to dinner. I received my final divorce decree in the mail. My kids thought it would ruin the day but I said, "Are you kidding? This is the best present I've ever gotten." If and when I make it to 60,I hope to spend it hiking the trail between Sweden and Norway, unmaking all the sample beds in Ikea, going to the Hard Rock Cafe and topping it off with a night at the huge tivoli in Copenhagen. Or I might just visit ManO and the gang in Texas.  |

I'm going on 70 and I just gave up hang gliding and parasailing because I got a new knee but I'm still doing long road trips alone and riding my Harley sportster XL1200L...
