I'm actually working on a new dating/social site myself. I'm developing the forum script myself for that site as well as another one of my sites. It will be a while before it's done though.

Fortunately/Unforunately I am tabbed as a "nice guy". Of course take it as you will, I can be a real a-hole when my back is against the wall.

My story is pretty simple... I was brought up with values, one of which was chivalry. If my mom were to ever see or hear of me treating a woman improperly she would smack me silly, then do it again after I recovered to remind me. The sad side of that story is I have only ever met one woman that appreciated it, but we spent so much time apart when we were "together" that I changed into a guy she didn't fall in love with. Since then all I attract are the liars, cheaters, and crazies...

Women talk about wanting to meet the "nice guy" but remember, some guys are looking for the "nice girl" as well...

As for starting a "nice guy" site, how would you weed out the real "nice guys" from the ones putting on an act to find a way into that market? What are the qualifying traits of being a "nice guy"?

There are nice guys i have as friends. So they do exist. Just that some already have a lover. Sucks doesn't it? :( lol

Because I am sincere in seeing this happen, I dont care about sharing my ideas,, it wont matter if I do it or someone else as long as its done

my idea was a site something like facebook(of course not that big), where the idea is that the profiles are of 'nice' guys

the catch would be that they would be 'rated' by video endorsements

that is, once the profile is up, they would have to have 'video' endorsements from ex's, friends, relatives, coworkers or whomever

sharing a story about how 'nice' a guy they really were,, the more such endorsements they have, the higher rank they would have and the more in front their profiles would be,,,there would also be cool surveys they could take where their responses would be viewable

Sounds interesting, shouldn't be too hard to develop something like that. Is this still just and idea or have you started developing it yet?

Since I'm such a "nice guy" and it'd mean the world to be to get counted, My story is as follows: For starters I'm in dead-end job and actively seeking a dumpy neurotic for mutual psychological torture, tepid sex, and co-dependency. I enjoy drinking, smoking, pornography, and self-righteous indignation.

I can't stand movies, and I consequently have middling intelligence, but try to appear smarter by affecting a world-weary air, memorizing useless facts, and chuckling at my own mean-spirited, agenda-driven jokes.

I'm 30, but look 40 and feel 50. If you're a whiny, bitter shrew with a misplaced sense of entitlement and unrealistic expectations... in time you will become coolly hostile when I don't fulfill every unmet need you've ever had. Bonus points if you just finished screwing every guy in town and but now want to take it slow with me.

Since I've been online a while and no woman realizes that a perfect night out would include getting hammered in a sleazy bar while they flirt with seedy old drunks, followed by an embarrassing screaming match. I would be open to an unsatisfying fling that leaves me filled with regret and dread but prefer a long-term, soul crushing descent into booze and pills.

Age is unimportant, but I will condescend to women under 25 and rehash mother issues with women over 45, so "nice girls" I'm waiting...

What do you mean by nice guy?
Cos when i mentioned knowing a few in my last post, i meant they have a sweet personality. It also depends where you go, which environments/places you spend time in, in your everyday life. They don't go to nightclubs, that's one place they don't go. I can't imagine a "nice guy" hanging in the ghetto area's of town. More like a skate park, or somewhere peaceful.

i'm not a nice guy cause i don't let women walk over me or allow them to use me as a door mat,i'm a straight shooter,tell it like it is man.Sometimes though my straight shootin can end up anywhere

what you describe is a 'weak' guy, ,hardly attractive to anyone not looking to use someone


Nice guys are attractive because of their integrity, sincerity, compassion and manners

weak guys are not attractive(in my opinion)

IM just telling you how I view a nice guy,,not everyone sees it the same way

there are insincere guys, and incompassionate guys, and ill mannered guys,, all still guys,, in my opinion

but the nice guy,,, one of a kind special
